• Basically Blues plays the kind of old-world blues that you can feel - as relevant today as it was back then.
• The Buttonwood Tree is a performance space that serves emerging and underexposed talent. You can see art, hear music, and enjoy dance from around the world. The Buttonwood also features an eclectic book store.
• Dean Enerson is a Nyack resident who enjoys painting his surroundings using oils and pastels. His style is reminiscent of the Hudson River school of painting.
• Monkey Muffins: Hey, don't forget the culinary arts! Monkey Muffins are the perfect all-natural snack for your kids (or even yourself). Based in Nyack, NY, these muffins are on their way to being a household name!
• Phil Goldstein is a Nyack artist whose work was recently exhibited at the O.K. Harris Gallery in SoHo, New York. He is also a scenic painter and has worked on several movie sets.
• Spyder Murphy is the party band that won't quit. Rocking the east coast from Martha's Vineyard to the Jersey Shore and stopping for the occasional festival and college reunion in between.
• Summer Sounds at Chestelm (East Haddam, CT) is a yearly series of outdoor free concerts featuring national talent as well as very talented local musicians.
• Sven Schirm is a Greenwich, CT photographer whose style is both professional and artistic. He captures incredible landscapes and also creates impossible images using computer manipulation.
• Swim Deeper tackles the kind of music you never knew could be performed live. Art-rock and progressive music reminiscent of early Genesis and with influences like Allan Holdsworth, Bill Bruford and even Dave Matthews.
